Let’s work out where to begin.
Describe a normal day with your dog, including the bits that are difficult. We can use that to discuss a training plan and whether the work you have in mind is suitable.
Talk through the everyday details
What happens just before your dog pulls, barks or loses focus? Where is it easier? Discuss those details, along with training format, fees and availability.
Agree what you’ll work on
Confirm the scope and arrangements before committing. Choose exercises you can fit into your routine and adjust the demands to your dog’s comfort.
Keep notes on what changes
Record the exercise, the setting and what happened. Use those notes to decide what needs more practice. A school record describes the training recorded; it does not guarantee access or travel approval.
What a training record can tell you.
Training records describe the work completed and the observations recorded. They do not independently grant public-access rights or airline approval. Requirements depend on the province, territory and setting.
